Jo started her Real Estate career in 2002 in Wanaka and with her hardworking honest approach, her commitment to customer service and keeping clients informed, has had many happy clients and achieved several awards over the past decade.
After moving to Lake Hawea in 2003 where Jo and her husband Mark built their home, Jo has been a strong player in the Hawea Real Estate market. With a thorough knowledge of the area and its past sales Jo has a strong return clientele and large database of clients looking to purchase in the present and future. Who better to sell your property than an agent living and loving the area and can promote the tributes of living there? You can often see Jo kitesurfing on Lake Hawea, snowboarding at the local mountains or biking along the many trails in the area, on her time off.
Jo and Mark are also the founders of the NZ Mountain Film Festival started in 2002. They have built this up to be a five day festival of films, workshops, international and kiwi speakers, trade shows, and is now a Charitable Trust, and has over 3,500 people attending.
Brett and Anne JenkinsWe first came across Jo randomly when visiting one of her open homes – immediately she went out of her way to take us to 2 other places, and from that moment on Jo became our “ go to “ Real Estate agent to get us a house in Lake Hawea. We were still living in Timaru initially which made viewing houses a little difficult until we shifted down, but Jo listened to what we wanted intently and hence did not waste time with homes that weren’t within our criteria. Her communication and knowledge of the area was superb and was an important asset for us to have on our side, and the information she shared on the houses we viewed was well-researched and helpful. We were also impressed with the way houses can be viewed within the Ray White staff, perhaps not specifically those listed with Jo but with her involved – that was a good system for us also. Jo worked tirelessly for us overall which I was impressed with as, considering her income comes from the vendor, not from us directly as purchasers! We were rapt that the house we ended up purchasing in Lake Hawea was a Ray White home, as it would have been a travesty if Jo had not been involved given her time and effort over almost a year with us. She is a wonderful person and her communication and commitment to us was exemplary. We both fully endorse Jo’s work and recommend her to anyone considering buying or selling a home. Thanks again Jo – you were awesome!!
